Ya I also heard that AZ-NO3 is quite useful in reducing NO3, but according to the bottle, it indicates that fish might have faint behaviour, I'm afraid about that, so I did'nt purchase it. But one thing I need to ask bro who use this product before, is it a "once and for all product" or is it a "daily/weekly dosage product"? If it is a daily/weekly dosage product, then it would be too expensive.

i am using it now. i think it depend very much on how u use it to be effective. instruction says it work best in drip tray and flow rate of 500L/hr
i read in another thread is that this needs to be placed in oxygen deprived environment so that the nec BB can be cultivated.
i am also trying this now. i also hoping that it will work

Or you can place a few marine plants at sump, cost a few $$ only. It does helps to remove NO3. But you have to switch on lights. Hehe. :D

i've bought the Nitrate removal small bottle for $8/- ... place it in my filter system with water flowing thru for about a week ... sad to say ... dont seem to work.
day before yesterday did a water test ... nitrate at high of 100ppm ... so immediately mix up the salt water and did a 40% water change yesterday ... left it for about few hours and test ... NO3 has drop to about 20ppm.
i've bought the AZNO3 ... it's a white bottle with black wordings ... very expensive ... cost $40/- for about 250ml bottle ... hope it works ... my 2nd day of testing ...

Ya loh ya loh, i also heard someone said that it uses a lot of O2, and some times can cause fishes fainting behaviour. But many people are very satisfied with the results, but I don't dare to try. :D

Yes its true, you can try it out if you don't mind switching on lights at your sump. I tried it before, really works, and very efficient if you buy adequate plants. :D
