Tripod essential for camera is needed for stability.

Tripod stand is essential for stability and good shots!
Can't think of anything better, any improvised methods besides the use of tripods? Can even extend the lenght and angle of tripod: Bagus!:cool:
What you guys/gals think of this??

Yes, the tripod stand is for the stability issue. I had tried that on my aros, and I found it difficult to compromise between auto-focus and stability. When I take closer shots, let's say 20 cm infront the glass, an aro that is swim close to the front glass will vary the distance to camera very fast (if the camera is stand still), and hence is hard for the camera to get an accurate auto-focus. Therefore, (after then), I always move camera along with the aro (keep the distance) with my hands. Anyway, more than 50% of shots failed is not avoidable. No easy way!!!:rolleyes:

CDM, no problem!
You have a pair of fast response hands and
the speed of your camera lens movement must
match the speed of fast moving objects.

If you are not taking video, you can take individual shots
at various static landmark positions of your aro.

"Pause" the camera when your aro in fast motion.
"Record" again when he starts to slow down.
Then you have a series & continuous stream of "Pic frames"

The Panasonic analogue-camera currently using have a "run mode", that means can even take people racing or in motion, i've try that, not too bad. The focusing is not perfect, of course, still can do. ;)

From what I know, some video cams have faster
repsonse time than others when taking motion videos.
(unless you are taking racing cars , that'll be a different story)

I think our eye lens are still the best!
Can auto focus at fast resolution time in less than SPLIT Seconds!
should be less than nano-seconds, x 10 exp(-9)!!!!
No camera in the world can come close to this match,,,

Recently, I saw some new D8 (digital camcorder) with 1.55 Mega Pixels (for still picture) CCD plate. I think this kind of D8 really can do something. Unfortunately, it's too expensive (cost a red aro). And, as you just mentioned, camorder have higher responding speed (normally).

Into sub_atomic leve liao... :D
I canot afford too exp cam, just normal one will be fine for me...

Anyway, the price of electronic gadgets will always plunge if new gadgets appear on the markets, if SG sign more FTAs (free trade agreement), or technology keeps improving to mass produce these devices...

Sometimes to the point that consumers like us are
overwhelmed by the choice available..

To remain simple is the better choice...;)

Yes, you're right, the digital stuffs (camera) are more like a electronic product than a SLR (a camera). That mean the price of digital camera will go down fast while higher spec. of DC appear. And, the price of SLR never go down much.
