Shitting white worm?

My JH sometime after shitting, long white thing follow too. It look like a string but thicker.
Why i said is worm because after I scope up and inspect, i can see it still wriggling / moving. Anyone know what is it?

I never de-worm my fish before as I think it's not necessary at all. I keep lot of LHs but this is the first time it happen.
It been few months already.Last time when I noticed it, i thought was the fish tank silicon peeling off so never scope it out.
Fish fed mainly on BW and KL pellet. Only sometimes on live feeder(small fishes).
Do you think I need to de-worm my fish? If yes, how?

Exactly how long is the worm? It sounds serious...
But should not the worm be dead if has pass throught the intestine of the fish?

Maybe you can try feeding the worm to your LH again.. Lol no offences.

My LH Tank only has worms tiny disgusting white worms in the filter..

Fish still eating very well and very active, do not look like sick to me. I afraid if i do not do anything yet, later cannot guarantee.
Anyway, I think you are the one who promise to take a pic of your texas and show it to me at another LH forum. Is it?

Very long. I never measure it but think should around 10cm.
I read from somewhere from papers that it happen to human as well, especially those who like to eat raw food. It someting like parasite which will stay inside your body feed on the food you taken it. And then it will grow and grow bigger. Only operation can remove it.
Tell you the truth, it really come to my mind to put in back and feed the fish again.Hahaha..........

2 weeks ago not eating well due to ick problem. Finally cured of ick and eating like no 2molo and kok getting bigger. Wonder if stop feeding for a week can solve the problem-that mean also no food for the parasite.

maybe ur fish got hexamitiasis? its a thread like feces. caused by the parasit hexamita. ur fish maybe showing good signs now. but it may be a very serious problem if u dont do any regimen to it. once the hexamita attacks. ur fish will have a 50 percent survival.

I cured many of my LH for internal bacterial diseases which symptom-white shit hanging and fish got no appitite.
But this one not the same, as shit colour still black/brown colour and then a string of white worm follow. Not everytime, maybe 1 or 2 weeks once.
Maybe this fish got auto de-worm function.

Then u get some de worm meds to do the job. Tedious but effective process

get mq4 dewormer n mix into food to feed ur lh,

alternatively if u r lazy, just buy some beefheart with dewormer inside it, do it quick ok while ur lh still has appetitie. good luck. :)
