Just to share the effect of turning on the pinkish aquarium light (1 single 4ft tube) have on the outcome of your red aro picture; all other surrounding and camera settings are the same for the two pictures.
First one is without the pinkish light :

;) Great job. Although the 2nd pic looks more impressive, I always believe we should try our best to take photos that protray the colours more realistically. :)
Nice work, Ronald. So, what's the light of the first one? The second one is truly impressive. And now I'm really confused, what should we do? To enhance or to show the true color?

The first one I used normal white lighting (1 tube), those white flourescent ones u use to lite up the house.
I guess it's all up to the individual as all of us want to be happy when we view our fish and when your friends and others give good comments. Not so much of painting a false picture, but I think red aros should be appreciated using slightly pinkish aquarium lites for max viewing pleasure.
There is nothing wrong in using pink light to enhance the color of the fish for viewing. It is like many girls who use make up to enhance their look.:)

From the color of the scales near the stomach, I can see the color is still white, that means your pinkish light only enhance the color but not deviate too much. I just cann't get use to some LFS here in TW use nearly red light over red aro, that has gone too far.
