Bro Monsterz1975,
Congrate and cheer for your BT :p :p :p . UV will definately work !to control Ich growth!!! ;)
To add on precaution measure:
1) Weekly dose some bacteria supplement (1-2 cap) will help to growth and maintain the good bacteria growth.
2) Once a month, if you observe BT's white-spot is out(again!?) for more than 3-days. Consider change 5-10% water and Dose Myxazin(Reef-safe if you apply correctly..half-dosage for my case) will help to keep Ich away and will save you a few sleepless night.. :D

Ich: I shall be back!! (choy!)

Hi Bros, my coralife UV have water slip through into the bulb area, and the bulb was spoilt. Have been using this for more than a year and no problem at all, don't know why this happen, any bro encounter this problem as well? Any 1 knows why this happens? I wonder if it is the cause of the rubber, it looks so dangerous to me.

So Bro, what you mean is that you have heard of a lot of cases of water leaking into the bulb area? Hmm, what other good brand for recommandation? I always think that coralife is a good UV steriliser. Btw, do you know what is the cause of the leakage? Any way to prevent it?

I have no idea what causes the leaking and now no longer using this brand of sterilizer as purchased one unit before to try it out but disappointed with the outcome.
So been using the trusted brand ever since ... the UV-C brand of Sterilizer.

Hi bro, no crack wor, thats why I'm puzzled. I'm sure water seek in from the "ring rubber" area. But there is no way I can prevent it, as the whole unit is not transparent, I can't possibily see what is going on in it. Btw when you open up the unit, the ring rubber is loose right? Which means it will drop off once you open up the unit.
