May I know if Reborn has completed the 'renovation'. Went over the weekend the fish side shop tanks were empty.

Saw some Neon Goby@Reborn, today..

Just returned from PH. Have not seen the corals yet since I said bye bye to them. If the corals shipped well, there should be quite a few nice (at least to me, though very subjective)stags. Will annouce opening hours later tonight after the corals are unpacked. :)

Also, if things go well, there will be some new glass shrimps that are acropora commensal, to be available in a few weeks down the line. I believe these shrimps are new to SG!!! Having seen them in person 2 mth back, i think they will be a most interesting to all sps tanks.

Yes, I can't resist the pricing and that was why I took all of them (20 pcs) as I am epecting some casualities.

But so far they're doing well (knock on wood :)) and swimming in the open already. :D

White tiger goby can't tahan each other unless their are paired. So if you are placing them in your 6' tank w lots of LRs then they should be fine. Else, you will get high casualities for sure.

Currently, owns a pair of them. They had spawn for the 5th times already and I still haven't figure out how to rear them. The 6th batch is currently in progress.

Tips to lookout for paired white tiger goby.

1. Swims together, male have 2 destinitive spike on the dorsal fin while female is have rounded dorsal fin. (Naturally paired)

2. Observe that the male, if it raises his dorsal fin at the female that means they're not paired and the male is courting the female. Good chance of pairing if the female doesn't turn aggressive or swims away. (Tank paired)

Even though some species of gobies are known to be asexual, pls don't buy 2 male/ female and hope that it'll pair up. In the end, you might end up with 1 dead goby or 2 gobies leaving at different part of your tank. Or even worst, no gobies.

Thanks for the tip... Will try to lookout for these when i go searching for them... If i am sure that the gobies i am looking at is asexual and not very aggressive toward own kind one den i will get two... try to pair them up but if like white tiger gobies, neon gobies, mandarin and scooter blenny... i will not buy any two if i dunno how to tell the gender... lol...
