bettas going thru x-ray.

Bringing bettas frm thailand and going thru x-ray, will it affect the fish?

heard it doesnt. but then again, X-ray can cause mutational effects...very minimal on us...but on a small fish? better not. Just buy a few plakats just in case need to "bribe" and also tell them no X-ray when u bring in...just show them and tell them plakats...they will usually just check and ignore. So it should be ok lah.

Just brought back some and they ignore once i told them plakats.
Also, someone says can just put in hand carry bag and go thru scanner no problem. i dont know about this man.

So far the place I get to know of is Chattuchat lah...in bangkok.
Maybe there's a better place than this then I won't noe lah....

easy is easy...hand carry, dont X-ray tell them plakat.

But recently got an experience of my friend who was asked to pay some money for it. Or sometimes they confiscate some of the fishes. Dont buy too much...check with AVA to find out how many fishes u can bring in.

what is plakat?
bettas in its natural wild form issit...
eh but if kena caught kena pay then not worth man...maybe buy more of those plaket then if kena caught give up the plakats to them....bribe...

the one in your gallery is not the cheap one right....looks swee leh....but franklyi like half moons...i think they look majestic when hit full potential...
how much does half moon go singapore/thailand? heard somewhere thailand there they never see female hm? true?

if u see a halfmoon male rarely..u see a halfmoon female even rarely...that is phenotypically and not genotypically. Female usually no such good spread i think except a rare few.

Anyway, Chatuchak market got some nice bettas. But halfmoons are rare there. Mayb u got to try to get contacts for farms lah. Better. me dont know any farm though haha
