Anyone using Nikon Coolpix 2500

Is anyone here using a nikon coolpix 2500? I know its quality for macro shots is inferior to coolpix 900+ and 4500+ but I got one for the price and acceptable quality. Anyone got any advice on using it?

My pics are at http://www.villagephotos.com/pubgallery.asp?id_=39870 . Some of the pics have quite a bit of flash and a few are blurred because I was in a hurry to take.

First of all, I didn't experience Coolpix 2500. But, I think you can try below trick to emprove the mis-focus prob.
Those targets with long narrow extended arms (like reefs) are not easy to get accurate auto focus, and also the targets inside a cave are not easy to get correct focus too. Guess Coolpix don't have manual focus, therefore you might try estimate the distance between the camera and the target, and focus on a target with the same distance you estimated. Then move the camera to the target while half press the shutter button and then take shot. In this way you can have better chance to get good pics.
