How do you take a good shot using a sony digital cam. My small LH...about 1.5 inch, moves around alot and when I press the shutter, by the time the shot is taken, he out of the frame....I want to take some good shots of the little bugger but short of taking him out of the water, I cant seem to take a good shot.....what are the settings ?? The model for the camera is 707 I think...(Hee Hee my friends cam actually).

For the adults, the photo not as sharp as some members here...it is a good camera but I am a lousy photographer and so is the owner of the camera....can anyone assist ??

You can see the shots I have taken in my gallery....the one that I am trying to get a better shot of is of Keiko...

Thanks in advance.

I think your tank lighting is not enough. Use f-stops F2.8, zoom out, use tripod and remote control to prevent shake. Never use flash. Try to take shot when fish is not moving. Focus at the fish. Take as many pictures as possible and be patience.

Bro, I ues F707 too.
First check if you set the camera at Macro Mode (Flower icon) for the close-up shots. Sony DSC-F707 has a superb auto-focus ability.
Those baby LHs are jumpy, you might try first half press the shutter knob to get a focus, and keep the focus while holding the camera still, then wait until the LHs come back to the original place and take the shot. Honestly, it's not easy to take good pics for a small LH.
The final option is to use the flash light, although I don't like to use flash, if you really can't solve the prob, just go for the flash.
