Hey if i dun use digital cam and take pics it will turn out ok rite? Any like big difference? Coz no $$$ to buy cam unless like 50-100 bucks whahaah anyone noe where got sell cheap one? Thanx 4 yr help!
Basically, I believe a normal SLR can take better photos than a compact DC. However, lots of failures are not avoidable. So, here comes the big difference, you can do lots of deleting those unwanted without spending money on a DC, but it will cost you a bomb for a film camera cause you can't delete any unwanted.

Here are some numbers for your reference. Here in TW, we develope 36 photos (include film) for ~10 SGD (200 NTD). I took 400 photos/week since I got my digital camera (6 months), so if for film camera I would spend >400 SGD/month (400/36X4X10). One more thing, there only 1/6 of the 400 pics are ok to be published.

Whoa! Hmm.. seems dat getting a digital camera isnt such a bad idea... But reali will bomb my pocket i tink whahhaah

Hey pal, you got credit card? Go Harvey Norman can use credit and pay interest free installment for 12 months .. that's what I am doing now (using my sister's credit card) .. you can get the camera on the spot once approved.

Hi CDM!
Recently took outdoor pictures only hehe I went to a few places in Msia for offical duties .. took some pictures of Genting Highlands and Penang.
Abit sian of taking fish photo liao because always the same .. wait till they get bigger then I take more :)
Btw, do you know got new camera coming out? Sony DSC F717. Looks the same but with more features .. Can see it at www.dpreview.com.

Yeah, seen the news at the same site, and it seems that the F717 is not changed much as compared with F707. Don't know why Sony's doing this.:confused: :confused:
Yeah, sometimes it's a bit boring for taking pics of same fishes. Maybe you can monthly record the fishes, and few yrs later can do a report of growth.:) ;)

This time the camera have more light settings which they should have included in F707! They improved on the night shot thing also .. sigh ..
Actually after reading a few sites I found that Canon have good digicams ... not the IXUS type but those black color and dem pro type .. but too expensive .. body alone is so costly ..
Well I think so far for Pro-sumer cameras the F707 good enough .. :)

Hey.. HAahaha i onli 16 and my parents oso no credit card... Haha Btw.. do u all noe where to get cheap digital cameras? Coz i tink not bad..

Maybe your auntie or uncle have? But you need to pay certain amount each month so if you got part time job it's better.
If not you save up loh .. in the end you get good camera which can last you a long time.
I know of a shop in SimLim. One of the guys inside there is very friendly and you can negotiate, unlike other attitude problem shops. When you want to buy I give you the contact.

Ya lau, I forgot the night shot function, cause I always take night shot with my normal SLR. But, that is really a important function for a prosumer camera. Yeah, it's an important upgrade.

Oic.. How abt like juz a normal digi cam like juz can take simple pics and load it up the com? Will it cost like more than 150 or 100?
