Hi Chan.
a few points to focus on:

1) besides the salt addition, what else happened recently?
2) r there any other fishes in the tank? r they ok?
3) any water parameters?
4)any recent stress/fright to the aro?
5) is it still eating normally?
6) check for breathing difficulties, blood spots along the belly, base of fins.....popeye, dropsy....
7) what do u feed it?

we have to rule out 2 major things
1) a recent scare etc
2) water problems.

immediately perform a 30-50% water change. no more salt this time pls. remove any chlorine n make sure the temp. doesn't change.

Bro, try to feed it less... maybe add a tank mate or add small fishes for it to chase. Hopefully its just a case of the fish resting or boredom which we see all the time in LFS. All the best bro :)

Hi Chan,

The first thing you might like to do is to check water parameters. What's your pH of your tank? Noticed anything else abnormal about the aro?

Seriously speaking i never checked my pH ......becoz i use geo-liquid tht helps to stabalize pH value..

I'm not sure if that is the function of geo-liquid, to stablise pH. I would recommend you check your pH.

It occurred once to me. My aro was sitting quietly in the corner of the tank & he is usually quite active. I checked the pH & it turned out to be 4. I added coral chips & did a 30% water change. As the pH increased, so did his activity.

I really think is very much of the water problem...and do check on all the water parameters....if everthing is ok with the water...it could be that your aro is under shock or in a frighten stage....if not...something might be stuck on its throat due to eating something hard (found this to be a cause in one of my friend's aro)....

u did mention tat there is a current in ur water....do u want to check which electrical appliance is causing tat? isist the lights or the pump?
maybe u can remove the faulty object.....the fish will feel much better
