hello,

i noticed that my aro's tail seems to be jagged.
it was smooth before..
but now its like damaged,
but he doesn't have a tankmate except for a pleco,
which also seems badly beaten..
could this be because of extremely low ph?
what are the sign of extremely low ph?
my ph pen is busted so can't measure the ph.

Squid, other causes could include fin-rot or self-inflicted tail-biting.
Tail-biting could occur in odd timings (like when you're asleep and the lights are off) - more often it happens when the lights are on.

i don't think its finrot.
the fins looks really yellowish because its yellow tail and doesn't have whitish on the edge...
i also noticed that my pleco's fins is badly torn...
this happened once before.
but it was fixed when i changed the water...
will a pleco be able to bite arowana?
so far haven't seen my yellow tail tail biting...
but will observe him :)

thanks!!:p
