rember the puffy eyes i was talking about for the past 4 months?
well he still has em and ive tried everything.
they get better than get worse again.
could it be a vitamin thing? my superworms only eat carrots?
someday my fish will either die or get better, ive almost given up.

Do not give up there's hope for ya man,..

I've got a suggestion but not sure how good it is but here goes..

If you have a spare 55g or bigger, try to cycle that tank then do the usual ph check and what not ect...and transfer the aro to that tank i'm thinking this will help the fish out a bit with the clean water and all.in the meantime clear out your tank that the aro is currently in(now at the moment) clean scrub filter change ect...cycle that tank check ph ect..
Observe the quarinte tank for three or more days see if it heal then do another transfer.

Doing to many transfers to the aro might cause stress but do it carefully.I'm no expert but just don't give up.....

yeah man, don't give up.
the best thing u can do is to collect a good history n go through a physical exam on the fish yourself!
use the thread " how to approach a case' on the top of the aromedics page. take your time. give us an update bro.

Hi DemZ, can see that u determine to treat the fish. Had followed your posting on this aro months back. Sorry I can't be of any help. I'm not sure I can do the same thing u did. I will probably set my aro free long time back. Hope your aro will recover eventually. :)

well ill see if i can do the tank swith thing. i got a spare 40gal.
that should do.
im trying to swith the meal worm food up a bit. Less beta Caroteen.
And im planting the tank soon. Ive always had good luck with live plants and helping the fish.
i cant really do the whole cycle thing till december, so ill try my stuff first.
Wehn i get home in 2 weeks ill take photos and post.

just sucks, he gets better for like a week then gets shitty again.

Demz, I feed superworm to my aro and I use large cichild flakes to the worm. They turn all pink in a few days.

anyways, i get home and the RTG is still the same. no better no worse. tho my roomate syas his eyes were twice the size afew weeks ago.

can i use carbon in the tank?
that iwll crystal clear the water and hopefully remove toxins.
i dont use cabon cuz of the hole in head crap. thoughtsss?

should i just start over.

the Aussie in my other tank is doing amazing.

what does everyone need from me to try and fix this?
can i annestise him, and operate on the eyes?
shoudl i pack salt on em?
