Yeah, of course. Dragons are not necessary to be all hm. ;)

dragon can be neither hm nor hmpk, it can even be veiltail, delta tail etc.
the name dragon is just the combination of colouration on the fish in general sense.

hope it helps

Most may think the more rays its caudal has the better it is for spawning. Or the more "overhalfmoon" its finnages is, the better it is.

But actually most of the times its kinda wrong. For colors like blue, the finnages is already established, there isn't a need for both parents to have many rays. It would result in having rosetails in most of the fry, and they may not even be able to hold up their finnages when they grow.
And same for overhalfmoon, it may look nice to some. But if the rays are overlapping each other, or the amount of rays make it too heavy for the fish to swim, then its a fault in a competition :)

Thanks for sharing man! :)

Cos everytime hear people say more rays better and nicer. Think it is up to individual. As long as the person likes the fish, no prob! :D

Hope I am correct. :o

rosetail red gold.

good for example on ohmpk, but personally i would not consider as breeder on the concern of uneven scaling.

nice picture taken.
