HELP!not eating & cloudy eyes

Hi aromedics:
my super red is 15 mths old.
I've moved to a new home 2 mths ago.
since then, my aro started to develop slime body, then cloudy eyes.
sent her to a shop in Hougang who suppose claims aro doctor
came back to me 4days ago & charge me $300
eyes still bit cloudy but more worried about not eating at all!??!!
Pls help...anyone I can send to for treatment?
btw, always curious to know whether can droop eye be cured at this age 15 mths
make mistake by leaving live prawns inside the tank.

try feeding live frogs diet for a while. hopefully it will learn the habit of food coming from above, hence constantly watching outwards..

I fed my PG SW for 3 weeks now, at times, my aro will search for worms which have sunken to the tank bottom. I have a habit to watch my aro for an hour or so every 2 day.

i notice that aro become , sort of like habitual after a week for so, to do something routine, like picking up food from tank bottom. Though my aro is about 10 inch or so, i notice the upper portion of the eye seems to be inching out of the socket a bit, makes me worry that droop eye will be ineivitable when i grows further.

Tomorrow, i will take measures to rectified the situation, maybe u can try these as well.

a) make tank bottom non-reflective. ie. stick with black stickers for fish tank, or paint it black.
b) feed live frogs, change to more "surface" properties food. Gold fish.

Hopefully, the droop eye problem would happen to my aro. i have read in aro books that measures can be taken to "cure" the problem too. they are

a) perform operation to remove excessive fats around the eye socket. But highly risky as u may blind the aro if accident do happen.
b) hold the aro and push the eye back in place. really, i was shock too when i read this... :) but they claim it works !

Bro bernardha! don worry for cloudy eye N slime body, don need to worry! Its not fatal. They r due to poor water condition.

Just treat it with anti-bacterial solution and 0.3% salt(300g for 100 litres of water), raise temp to 33 degree C. Last but not least change water more frequently.Hope can help
