Since there are some enquiries on this Malaysia trip, I would like to ask for a show of hands before I do any more work in planning and organising (eg: asking farm's permission, etc....)

Brief Itinerary as follows:

VIP Coach - those with massage chair (we need 24 to go, so that we can "pao" the coach)
Stop in Malacca for food and shopping
Genting - 2 nights @ Resorts Hotel, quad-sharing (2 double beds). If we are unable to arrange quad-sharing due to some wanting smoking and non-smoking rooms, extra charges will be incurred. Also, if some would like to have 2 in a room or single room, additional cost will also apply and will be provided later)
Return trip stop at Batu Pahat to visit Fish Farm.

Cost is approx S$250 for coach and hotel (based on quad-sharing) only.

Please list your nick, number of persons and (special request) below:

eg:
1. D24, 2 pax, non-smoking (2 to a room)
2. jwhtan, 3 pax, smoking (3 to a room)

Total: 5 pax

These are the 2 possible dates:

14 - 16 Mar 2009 & 20 - 22 Mar 2009. These are tentative dates and I can only check with the Travel Agent again, once I have the required numbers. I will also need to check if the Farm/s we wish to visit can accommodate our request/s.

Please note that I cannot advise which Farm at the moment, I will only start asking once we have the required numbers and the trip is confirmed by the Travel Agent.

Please express your interest by completing below. If you are fine with both dates, please indicate as well.

eg:

14 - 16 Mar 2009

1. D24, 2 pax, non-smoking (2 to a room)
2. jwhtan, 3 pax, smoking (3 to a room)

Total: 5 pax

20 - 22 Mar 2009

1. D24, 2 pax, non-smoking (2 to a room)
2. zon, 1 pax, smoking

Total: 3 pax

Friday start at night or earlier? People need to apply leave on Friday & Monday? Or just Mon? If I can, will join in.

Yes, cost indicated is peak rate: ie: school holiday and/or weekend rate.

I will be trying to arrange with Xian Leng to visit their show room, so that this trip is not just for Aro lovers.

Coach will leave Singapore about 6am on Fri or Sat and will arrive in Singapore late at night on Sun or Mon. Therefore, one must definite take one day leave, either on Fri or Mon, depending on which set of date we finally decide on.

Was told that the seats in the VIP Coach is called Snoozer Seat, not massage chair, as I had initially posted. I don't know what this means, ie: what the seat can do, as I have never travelled on this coach before, but will find out next week and let you know.

Below are links to the travel agent and hotel details:

If anyone can get a better deal, please post in the thread and let us know. Thx

Dear all

In order to proceed with organising the Malaysia trip, I will need to know if we have enough numbers by 21 Feb, 2359 hrs, Arofanatics time. This is to allow adequate time to make all necessary arrangements.

Please note that if we do not have the minimum participants, ie: 24 pax, the trip will automatically be cancelled and there will not be any further/separate notice to advise members.

Bros....

From experience, for security & logistics reasons, Malaysian farms only allow organised groups in coaches (individual cars r not allowed)....

Unless we r not going to the farms, only go jalan jalan....
