Bros, Sis,

My betta cannot close mouth fully, but can still eat bloodworm with no problem at all.

Can I still use it for breeding?

Pls help.

Urm....strange...never heard before..but i think u have mistaken...the labyrith is located very near to the mouth...thus the betta nver closes it's mouth totolly lyke other fishes....i may be wrong...but perhaps this may be the case...

Yes strange but when I compared with other bettas, the mouth is really opened. I am worried if I breed it, it cannot hold the eggs or pick the eggs properly although he did form bubbles.

I think it shud be better coz he can carry more eggs at a single time...can u post a pic of that fella here...would lyke to see dat fella...then perhaps can identify the prob more better....

well, if he is capable of forming bubbles, then he should be able to breed without any problem. dont worry about him, he'll be okay, maybe female help pick up eggs.

anyway such a problem is not genetic so u can definitely use it 4 breeding...
btw, could yur betta have mouth rot?
i last time got one fish kenna also... den the bugger mouth cannot close but still can eat and make bubbles...

Well...He's Goin to exchange that fella for another from Maran...this saturdae at their Open House this Saturdae....
