hi...this is my first time spawning..previous is 2 female died and one seriously injured..
well these time...i tried spawning slammander..
it works...and i need help badly..
the eggs keep on dropping..the male bery busy always cannot put the eggs up onto the bubble..what should i do..the male have been up and down the whole day !!! i scare he exhausted ah!!!! reallie pity him leh..the moment he put the eggs into bubble the next moment drop..seem like the tank bottom all eggs leh..is it normal...?? hmmz

what i would do.

reduce water level and feed male as per normal.

females shouldnt die during spawning......i dun even allow them to fight for more than 5 min before spawning......
its the owner responsibility. no one said they have to fight before they spawn right? so...

ya, reduce the wter level till manageable level.. Also, the male will make it, dun worry....

oh thanks for advise...hehee...i will noe what to do again if i ever breed ah...sigh..reallie feel sorrie for my two ct female ....

The right water level for breeding should be around 5-6 inches. This will minimised the distance per trip for the male and therefore less exhausted.
