Hi guys,

Recently got a marine tank (professional setup). Though I have more knowledge of marine things than my Dad, I have no control over what fish my Dad puts inside (his rationale is that it's his money so he can put any fish).

Today, he bought a maroon clownfish, a pair of clarkii's anemonefish and a JUMBO 5INCH TOMATO CLOWN and threw them into the tank. I said that they will start fighting before he bought them and he just ignored. Very upset and not sure what to do. As all of them are new to the sytem they don't show aggression for now, but I'm sure they're going to start fighting soon. It's a reef tank so it will be impossible to catch them out.

How????? :(:confused::(

Bro, if the maroon clown is smaller than the rest of the clown, it won't stand a chance. I had seen maroon clown kena wack till upside down in a tank.

Hi Reefer, don't worry too much since yours is a reef tank, I trust a lot of places to hid.

what's the size of the fish, the tank, how much rock is in there and can you get a photo of the rockscape? are these four clowns the only livestock in the tank?

since they are introduced together, there might be a chance they can live together... just monitor and see lor, I once had a 4 footer with a maroon, tomato, false percula and domino all peaceful for close to a year until I itchy hands introduced another percula then all hell break loose...

Size of tank for such combination of fishes is very important. If big tank with scaping they nit only wun fight,seeing each other often also difficult.
