how u guys grade the fish~? bec the 1st one~ will have very big kok~ than the other tat will not nt suck big kok onli got the consolation...~ but the RBK tat got the consolation is really power colour and intense coronation~ izzit fish with bigger kok and coronation ok ok onli~ will stand a chance of wining a stunning fish with onli a normal or square kok~?

need to learn some knowledge for this~ bec i find fish with power coronation and stunning colours is more pretty then big kok~

Well, it'll be a myth, saying that the last Sunday Competition had no International Competition.

So many good fishes around.... Though I must say most of the fishes were unable to stabilise as required ASAP, where I would also not deny that the water condition then during the competition was in doubt...

To make the judging more transparent, I'll make it clear here.

The nuchal hump and the overall impression takes up 25% each of the total, with the tail, finnages, eyes, colouration, body making up the rest equally.

The names of competitors were not known to us and we judged based on what we see on the day of competition only. Previous reputation counts for nothing.

Myth? Hey U guys did a great job! International Competition needs years to plan. U all only take, something like, less than 2 mths to get it organize n the green light is on. A contest, cum aro members get together, cum chio bu, cum birthday.....Hey! I call it a "GREAT PARTY" manz!!

it is very disappointed that some of the bros are in doubt of the water condition,
may be we can anticipate what actually happened on the day when brenching in the fish tiil competition day,
1) it is that brenching in is too short?
2)pH value too high...8.4??
3)ammonia content of the water,
4)nitrate value,

what i can say is brenching of fishes is too short(less than 24 hrs)
it might create environmental shock, which made the fish not
stable, may be committe can review this.

pH will not be 8.4 as someone claimed, this will kill your fish
instantly or slowly or might have burns(if your fish is used to have
7.8)

as for the ammonia and nitrate content, more all less from the way fishes swim and the colour of the water, it is about 0.1 to 0.15 ppm which is accepted during competition day.

personally think that fishes could not perform well is still the
environmental shock, some of the fish turned black and dull in colour.

i think baqman , lestlee and the gang had did a very good job in this event, hope that we can have a better and bigger event for
many years to come.
