Need to open 24hours, and two days off a week. Like that if sick need to submit mc? Those good food hawkers i know all do not operate like this. Overhead 4k, how to sell at affordable price? Not every hawker knows how to manage a team that operate 24hours. At lastly, where got so many customers round the clock?

Might as well just let SFI supply whole of Singapore.

This may backfire. On one hand they want preserved hawker culture, on the other hand want operate 24hrs. 24hours usually means tiong workers take over. Or they want be like australia, $12 chicken rice but double portion.

And, hawkers who decided to bid and operate a stall in these so called social enterprise hawker centers only have themselves to blame for SUPPORTING such gov initiated commercially monetary cause!

Singaporeans can support these so called social enterprise..... got backbone bo? BOYCOTT such hawker centers and let them toh tiu!

Not that i support those so call social enterprise but unless those hawkers who bidded the stall is ignorant of clauses in the contract their complaint is valid.

If not, they already knew the general cost beforehand. Now not making profit wanna complain... doing business there is risk as usual. They wanted to support those so call social enterprise hawker center who to blame. There are so many NEA stall that they can bid and operate instead in the first place.

Of course certain contract clause is absurd for the rental but still they signed ! what to say....

Those expensive aircon food court should be avoided long ago to protect our hawker culture. In taichi, one small movement will be economical, so many big movements and mess up everything.

And i think very soon we will see free adviser from gov initiative for those interested to start food business on starter cost calculation. Really ah, first teach dun eat out without teaching how to buy cheap raw materials, never teach how to cook. Everything also must teach. All level of Singaporeans have no common sense? From policies formulators to the recievers?
