Diy chiller in progress
i was looking through the furoms as usual when i notice people saying aqurium chillers are expensive ,then i took a can drink out of my mini fridge then suddenly an idea pop in my head.this is for those who are rearing small tanks or 1ft at most i think.this type of method is used more for those people who are overclocking computers but is somehow the same cause water is used lol.
lets get started tis is the mini fridge. http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/3046/dscn0139g.jpg By animatheearth at 2011-06-01 i took it apart. http://img825.imageshack.us/img825/9602/dscn0140q.jpg By animatheearth at 2011-06-01 http://img543.imageshack.us/img543/3303/dscn0141y.jpg By animatheearth at 2011-06-01http://img12.imageshack.us/img12/9290/dscn0142mk.jpg By animatheearth at 2011-06-01 now all i have to do is find a stainless steel rod mount on top and to the tank. do note it is a usb powered so you can buy a usb adapter or if your tank is next to your computer better still. i do not neo the results yet cause i havent buy the stuff but i m pretty sure it will work. |
