Well this is Singapore :o
I just wish they relax the rules a little but I think it's hard.
Just look at the news on abandoned bunnies.

This year some fengshui master says it's good to keep fish especially luohan, parrots, discus, aro etc so I guess when the year of the snake arrives next year, our canals will be filled with luohans again.

Wow, next year sure a lot people standby at reservoirs fishing lol!

Anyway, I caught a Malaysian box turtle at McRitchie before..when I was just a sec school boy.. A kaypo auntie come n tell me to release.. Tried to smoke her that they are introduced species and would be better for our environment if removed etc etc but nv work... She say she will tell the ranger.. So i LL put back hahahahaha...those were the younger days.

Anyway, still a firm believer of what my encek told me "do what you want but don't get caught" :D

And I'm still regretting letting go my 8" PNT when I was having O levels.. If 1yr grow 1"... It should be easily 15" now :o

My PNT currently has some small wounds at the tail end. What are some good medications to keep at home in case of injuries/infections and other stuff? Also, what are the procedures of curing such illnesses? Thanks!

Yellow powder and fine salt.

And increase salt content of the water for the time being.

Hmm so is it fine salt on the wound or in the water better? What's your WC routine for PNT tank?

Schmike 06-01-2012 07:01 PM

What I normally do is fine salt + yellow powder on wound and leave the PNT out of water for ~15-30 mins.

Only very serious conditions I will add in lots of salt in the tank after doing the above.

Bacidin can be used to clean the wounds too if you can get your hands on it. I normally get it from the vet.

Since there is nt any infection yet just increase the salt content of the water to ard 2-4%. My WC routine for my PNT is 10% per wk.
