Age water

Hi all senior.

Understand nowadays our PUB water has lots of chemical substance ever since the new water introduce. Hence, we must use good AC for our beloved fish every wc. I got a spare bathroom. Thinking if I can age the water in a drum. Is it necessary to age water or just act good AC. before I go and buy the drum.

just good AC is enough. pointless to age water nowadays since chloramine doesnt dissipate easily like chlorine. the only reason i'll "age" water is if the ph/temp of ur tap water is very different from ur tank water so u can get the parameters similar before adding... but that shouldnt be the case anyway.

Newater is not added directly to our drinking water, it is either sold to wafer fabs, or added into reservoirs.

I'm using Baxter 3 in 1, which come with Anti-Chlorine, anti-Chloramine and anti-ammonia. Put the powder before adding in tap water. No age water needed. I don't have such facility to store age water. Hence, this is my best way of WC.

Always age n bubble my water in a pail for few days before i water change.

Depends on what ur fish is more used to.

If fish active, feeding well just go ahead

I am using seachem prime for the water conditioner.

Honest, daily wc for all 5 tanks.

Yes, it's an obsession :o

Meaning, i can just pump out water from tank, then add AC, then slowly put tank water in?
Coz i've been using pail to age water then next day pour in tank. Quite a tough job to carry that heavy pail to pour water in tank.
