GEX - Best Bio Sand

Best Bio Sand works by using Zanessa bacteria in the product to reduce waste from the fishes and unwanted food at the bottom. These bacteria will convert the waste in to safe by-products, hence lower maintenance and at the same time keeping the water quality intact. Conditions water and maintains it cleanly. The sand does not need washing before introducing.

@thor bro, both Best sand & Best Bio Sand use slightly different properties to remove unwanted waste material but similar in effect. Best sand is a treated sand that uses absorption process to remove & make available waste material to the plants while Best Bio Sand volcanic sand that has good bacteria mixed into it, naturall biodegrade the waste material. Both are good for plants. But if no plants, then Best Bio Sand will be ideal.

Hi Canopy bro, sorry for the late reply! Best Bio Sand is of volcanic makeup, so no expiry & not necessary remove. As for Best sand, it's good for 3 to 6 months, giving the tank enough time to mature. No harm in leaving in the tank. Top up as you wish.

Based on estimates, your tank is abt 15L, 1.5L pack x 1 should be good.
