Hi! I think its either pool filter sand or silica sand. Not sure which one though

No idea bud....must see personally to cfm. Use C0 coral sand la....cheap and good....10kg $8~10 only! :p

Some bags come with lots of broken shell, especially the "live sand" range. Dried sand seems okay though. The grand bahamas and fiji pink are whiter than the others.

It's been a long time since your tanganyikans passion started bud, kindly share with us your collections pls? I believe you have the most tanganyikans in Singapore atm. :p
