Sorry I am a little confused.

I have reserved my name under the AFC thread however it is now locked and there is a same thread started under AF Org events. Am i supposed to reserve my name there as well or has it been noted that I have logged my interest in the event??

I believed that thread you registered in is the thread for exclusively AFC members only. The new thread opened in AF Organized Events is for registration of non-AFC members and AFC members who missed the deadline, hence only 16 remaining places left after including the original 20+ AFC members (including you) who already registered in the AFC sub-forum thread.
