You're lucky. My endy wasn't so lucky for my case. :o jumped out during the 3hours I was napping. Good luck! |
I never do anything after I throw my palmas/rope back after they jumped out and almost dried up on different occassions.
Both jumped out at night when everyone was asleep and found lying on the floor early in the morning. My grandmother asked me "Still alive?". My answer was "They don't die so easily.". I realize that palmas are very jumpy during the first few days. Add in some black water + having some hiding spots in the tank helps in reducing stress for them and thus making them less jumpy. Deep water may also be better since they don't get jumpy after moving them into my tank which is ~2.5ft high. Before that mine were in a tub of ~1ft high. |
By thru the night you mean like from 12am-8am that kinda hours and your bichirs still alive?
Wow.. My endy was only out for 3-4hours max.. Found it barely alive, threw it back into the tank, it was losing alot of it's slimes, bleeding from the external gills (still a juv) mouth and body.. Died within half an hour. |
