schmike: feeding once a week sounds a bit to extreme, like starving the poor pnt like that.

Elindra: how often do u feed urs now?

Schmike 30-11-2010 10:16 AM

turtles r the same as fish. they can go without food for a long time n its not necessary to feed them all the time.

so for large pnts, whats the ideal feeding routine like? used to feed every day when it was younger, now no more daily feeding as it produces just too much waste?

i dont think there is any standard rule on feeding regime. u can feed them all the time but they may not eat all the time. :)

personally, i will prefer to keep them in a tank to see them "fly". that is the beauty of these creatures.

for 1 PNT, a 6x2.5x2.5 shld b able to last for quite a few yrs.
