Lighting Question:Serial and parallel

hi,would like to know if i have a pl light 36watt x2(in serial),does it means my light intensity is only 36watt? only if 36watt x2( in parallel) dan consider 72watts:confused:

no, both 72W. be it series or parallel, each individual bulb takes up 36W of energy..

for parallel, one bulb blow, the other still works, series, u r forced to on both bulbs..

of cos as i have not seen the power rating label myself, there might be some misinterpretation
