Photography contest : Arofanatics.com (Freshwater) Photo contest (rules)
 
Contest Rules:

To ensure that the Arofanatics.com (FW) Photo contest runs smoothly, we ask that those willing to participate please heed to the following guidelines:

1) Submission of Photo:


1.1) With "AF FWPC" listed as the subject.
1.2) Be sure to include the following in your email.
1.2.1) Your Arofanatics.com username.
1.2.2) Theme of your photo.
1.2.3) Your full name as per NRIC and the last 4 digits of your NRIC no. (For identifying purpose on collection of prize)

Note : There will be an email reply to confirm your submission.

2) Contest Guidelines:

2.1) Any local member of Arofanatics.com is eligible to enter. (Registered as AF member for more than one month and with more than 50-post count)
2.2) One photo entry per member. (Minimum file size 650 by 400 in .jpg format but not more than 1200 pixels in width)
2.3) The photo must be an original work by the submitter and must not have any label (such as watermark).
2.4) You may submit your photo at any time based on the period indicated in the submission thread.
2.5) Voting start and end (dates/times may deviate on certain months) at the discretion of the AF staff-in- charge.
2.6) Subject matter must be aquaria-related. E.g Freshwater fishes, aquatic plants, aquatic invertebrates, aquatic reptiles/amphibians, full-tank shots, etc. But excluding Arowana (as the only subject).
2.7) Every effort will be made to keep submissions anonymous to ensure unbiased voting during the contest. Discussion will be allowed, but there will be no mention as to who submitted which photo. Also, please refrain from mentioning which photo received your vote.
2.8) All winners for the contest will not be eligible to participate for the next 12 months. We would like for as many of our members as possible to have a chance to win these free prizes.
2.9) Prize must be collected within 2 weeks after the closure of the voting poll.

3) Voting & result tabulation:

3.1) Two identical voting threads will be created simultaneously: one in the Admin/Mod’s section and the other in the public (Member’s) section.
3.2) The voting poll will open for 10days for voting.
3.3) The final result will be a tabulation of 50% weightage from the Admin/Mod’s thread and 50% from the member’s thread.
3.4) The submission with the greatest number of votes (in %) will be declared the winner. (Should there be a tie, the decision of the Admin/Mod’s shall be final)

some correction :

It should be "next 12 contests" instead of "next 12 months".
