This is one fish I'd always wanted to keep. But need a solo tank for it.

Is a very fast growing predatory monster fish, very territorial when gets bigger wont tolerate any tankmates.
It will kill them eventually or cause serious injury to them.Is best keep alone in bare IOS tank or Aquarium with sump as it love to destroy pipe , bite expose wire move decoration any equipment in aquarium. Thats my humble experience keeping a 3 yrs old 3ft aba aba kept from 5 inches sold it eventually.

ops they look very gentle and cute to me.. didnt knew they will grow so big:rolleyes:

gotta think twice before i get them. thanks for the heads up;)

This is one fish that is having the most deceptive look. That cute smiling face will lure you in to buy it. And you will finally regret it when it kills everything else in the tank.

Do you remember how much is the price ?

Not ex, one red note or more the most.

One of a most nightmarish fish I kept. Grow to 2ft and hard to comm. If really want to comm got to go with hardy fish like gar, pacu, gourami...still can remember how it attack, hide in a corner, hit and bite like a snake and retract back....the victims don't even know what attack them. Tried to sell off but nobody wants, eventually pass on with unknown reason.

Will they attack their own species?
