anti-chlorine,chloramine

hi was wondering what ac the bros here use...since i didn't really cared about using ac(always bought the cheapest i could find)in the past until i started keeping arowana one month+ back which i figured i should really get serious now that i'm keeping aros...so er i'm currently using nutrafin aquaplus not sure if this is a good enough ac:p

It is a reliable brand. I am currently using AST

albertlow 31-12-2015 09:15 AM

AST for me too..

Ex-seachem SAFE user, current AST user

I'm currently using AZOO for AC. So far so good.

I'm using SeaChem Safe powder form. No complaints. Bought the largest possible because of my tank size.

AST for emergencies. For water top up, 3 cubic feet of Calgon catalytic carbon in an upflow tank. Good for 5-8 years between carbon replacement heheheh.

Seachem safe best for me. AST kind of disappointment

Using AST for some time now.. No complaints. There was a thread previously on the perks of using AST by Tay for rays and other sensitive species due to its unique chemical bonding agent or something that breaks down harmful stuff into a safer compound than other ACs in the market.

i've looked through that thread bro...which is why i'm pretty convinced it's a pretty darn good ac and i'm wondering if i should upgrade to ast or maintain using nutrafin aquaplus since ast pricewise is a pretty big stepup from aquaplus:p
