Guys all this info is great on the breakdown of the cost and the dosage of anti-chlorine.

But does any of the anti-chlorine state what dosage treats what dosage of chlorine and chloromine in the water?

e.g 1 Litre of water have 10 X the amt of chlorine and chloromine but ur anti-chlorine dosage on the label can only get rid of 3X the amt of chlorine and chloromine. Like that the anti-chlorine is useless.

They just suggests generally on dosage per volume of commercial tap water. if you are paranoid, can get those carbon filters that filter off stuffs before it enters ur tank.:)

we should oso take note that the concentration of chlorine n chloramine in the tap water is different for different countries. the dosage recommended by the product is only relevant for the country of the source of the product.

it differs in the country itself too.

Oh dear, if 20L = 1 conventional red pail, I think I've always been overdosing Prime everytime I do WC. I'm using like 1.5ml per red pail!

Anyone else can share their dosage for Prime when they do weekly WC?

i put 30ml of Prime for 100litres
plus 3 tablespoon of baxter 3in1 : super OverDose :)

Prime® is the complete and concentrated conditioner for both fresh and salt water. Prime® removes chlorine, chloramine and ammonia. Prime® converts ammonia into a safe, non-toxic form that is readily removed by the tank’s biofilter. Prime® may be used during tank cycling to alleviate ammonia/nitrite toxicity. Prime® detoxifies nitrite and nitrate, allowing the biofilter to more efficiently remove them. It will also detoxify any heavy metals found in the tap water at typical concentration levels. Prime® also promotes the production and regeneration of the natural slime coat. Prime® is non-acidic and will not impact pH. Prime® will not overactivate skimmers. Use at start-up and whenever adding or replacing water.
