That time want to buy white sand but the shop keeper say coral chip. Need to buy more ba last min got it weekend of invest on another filter, going to diy one as well

anyone can advise me what filter to use for my 4ft tank?

try changing the media to K1 or cut the sponge up to smaller bits to make it more effective :)
DIY cannister is fun. just plan it well :)

No need to diy the sponge

My diy filters....using K1.....been using them for 1.5yrs liao...
