Hiding Aro?

So I'm not sure what happened but my Aro has been hiding the last couple days....it would come out, see me and speed off to hide...

First question, how long will this last?

Second question, how do I handle feeding?

Yeah, I'm new to Asian Aros and these little things worry me.

Thanks for any inputs

I'm not an expert but if the aro is not rejecting food, no reason to stop feeding the aro.

Could someone has disturbed the aro? Family members, visitor or children slamming or tapping the tank while you're not around?

Any visible injury? Drop scales? Tank buddies, if any, doing well?

If water perimeters are ok, then check if there's any addition of bright/reflective objects in front of the fish tank that might cause the fish to avoid looking at it by hiding at a corner

Bro, probably the aro was spooked.

Maintain good water parameters, it will come around :p

Bro, shall appreciate it if you can download a clip on your aro?

Before she started hiding, will try and get a vid up tomorrow with where.

She comes out and when she see's people (me) she freaks now. She eats crickets and SWs and because she spends her time under a wood she doesn't see the food.

I guess I'll wait it out.

Used to have aro also behave like that, at the tank bottom or corner. If they still response to food or human traffic should be okay. Some aro has this 'changing characteristic' as they grow up. My guess is he could have found a conducive spot as 'home' or getting lazy to swim or spook and need time to build confident again. Observe first.

It's 33cm now, was 18cm when I got it. Guys, she's starting to swim out now...a little on the deeper end but at least she's out of hiding!
