Bro, how old is your red and its size?

You can try to deworm but not necessarily will work.
The longest fasting was more than a year with ample food (pork, sotong, prawns) given but refused to eat.
Eventually died. I believe there's some underlying conditions which I didn't manage to detect or solve.

But most of my fasting arowanas will start eating within two months without doing anything....
The fasting was due to change of food or bored of eating the same food.

It is about 3 years old , I bought it from another hobbyist . At first it was eating but when I shifted the other arowanas out , it refused to eat.

Could it be a change of enviroment?

At times, aros can be stressed out missing its regular companions in the tank.

Maintain good water parameters, the red will come around in no time.

Honest, my 6-yr-old red ever went off food for more than a month.

Suddenly one day, it feeds again:D

Quite strangely ,

last night I throw in some mealworms and it takes it readily . Although I mst move away before it actually takes it!

I think my RED don't like my face.....:D:p

Anytime you made changes they will need some time to get used to it unless they are very comfortable with the new environment.
