where kind of plants are suitable for this kind of set-up? where can i get them?

I think most of the aquatic plants can be also grown above water. Some of the lfs sell plants in pots with the roots wet only. You can try those.

used to come here to see all the beautiful setups

but seems like the threads and posts have slowed down a lot

did people give up the hobby or have they moved on to Fb or other social media?
