Yes, the replacement cartridges will be available in the market in another 3 months time as we had just launch the main filter itself in Aquarama 2013.

i will let my one run for a few days and watch.

so far the PH level is up. consistently at 7.5.
I am quite ok about it.

Just the nitriate stuff need to be watched....

Yes, the flowrate of the pump will not affect the efficiency of the catalyst as the react time is in nano second.

The Ph of your tank will increase slightly due to hydroxyl ions that Hydra produced. But the Ph will not fluctaute more than a factor of 1 and will not affect those fish that require low Ph.

Hi bro,

Hydra filter will not effect the water perimeter create by black water, but it might caused the tinted effect to wear off on some brand's black water.

Will the filter be able to break down the dissolved organic matter within the water that causes the aquarium's water to be tinted slightly brown?

It might helps a little bit here but it will not completely remove the tinted color of the water.

Hi QH, I would like to check if I can use this as a pump by modifying a tube to fit the outlet head and use it as a sump pump? I understand the flow the flow might not be strong enough but I'm using the Hydra 50 for a 200litre tank, so I believe it should be sufficient. I'm not sure worried about the flow as my lifestock will be low as this is not going to be predatory tank.
