Enaly E0Z-300Y Ozone Generator

Got my hand dirty today to install this China-made Ozone Generator and following are my comments about this product.

The unit is pretty "big" in comparison with other makes and the max out capability is 200mg/h. The unit doesn't comes with a proper packaging and the reason could be due to cost saving shipping charges.

The unit comes with 2 pieces of tubing and 2 airstones (1 round and the other rectangle) ans a simple instruction manual stapled together to form a manula.

The unit itself is powered directly by 220V AC power supply and is protected by a fuse. Both the input & output or rather air inlet or Ozone outlet are located at the other side of the unit to the power supply and can be use either as air hole or ozone outlet.

Quality wise . it is ok but don't expect German or Swedish quality but like all ozone generators ... handle the unit with extreme care ..... and examine for cracks before powering up the unit.

You can either supply air to the ozonizer by using the supplied silicon air tube from an air pump to the one of the inlet and the ozone outlet via the air tube to the airstone into the same compartment as the skimmer in the sump.

The other alternative is to connect the ozone outlet directly to the venturi input of the skimmer.

Pros:
1) Price is very affordable for those who want an inexpensive ozonizer
2) 1 year warranty from date of purchase

Cons:
1) Doesn't have a power indicator when the unit is powered on except a push-on switch
2) No rheostat control to adjust the ozone output
3) Tends to get warm or heated up easily
4) Can smell the presence of ozone

Recommendation:
1) Do USE the ORP controller in conjuction with this unit otherwise deploy a timer for a 4 hours usage as the unit tends to get "warm".
2) Use an air-pump which has a variable lcontrol knob to control the ozone output as the ozone output is determined by the amount of air feeding it from the airpump.

You're right but won't get another Enaly again due to the material use and also it gets "warm".

Most likely this unit will ends up in the quarantine tank ... ;)

And the smell of ozone makes you wonder if there is any leakage somewhere or is there an overdose

I also got one china brand ozonizer last week too...
it cost me only 1++.
it comes with intergrated timer and pump.. there is led indicator when onzone is on and off...
u can set the duration "on" and "off" for the ozone ...
the cons: it smells my living room with the ozone ......
package comes with two rolls of silicon tubing and 2 air stone.
i replace the air stone with the wooden block..
will try to post a pic tonight ....
