NH4 / NH3 for shrimp tank
Hi ,
need some help on this issue. i have set up two 1 ft CRS tank . First tank is over 2 years and stable ( PH 5.5) , shrimps breed and grow well. Second tank set up about 2 months back , ( PH 5.5) , shrimps didn't do well and some died. water change for both tanks are 10% weekly. However , i realised that the NH4/NH3 test for first tank is level 8 !! and second tank is level 0 . Am i right to say that tank 1 is full of ammonia which is bad for shrimps but how come they still doing well ?? Thanks |
You sure it's not the other way around?
