Recommend Tank/FGT size for Rays to breed

Hi bros, i have a 17" female and 15" BD pair.

I have kept them for 1.5 years now. So far the female has not gotten pregnant yet though there are bite marks on her disc. I suspect my 5x2x2 tank could be too small for mating and need the advise of the breeders here.

Is a 4x3x3 FGT sufficient for a BD pair to breed?

Thanks in advance!

i dont think its the case of 5 2 2 too small , could be your female not matured enough. 1.5 years is still considered young adult. but of course if you could provide them with an environment of 4 x 3 it would definitely be better than 5 x 2....

yeah maybe not matured enough... Looking out for FGT with 3ft width. Maybe 432.
Ray estimated around 2years + old...
