Breeder's Competition at next BCS Roadshow

Here are the twelve classes that is currently contemplated:

HM/Delta Tail type (include DT)
Irridescent Colours (Single Colour)
Non-Irridescent Colours (Single Colour)
AOC

Short finned type (include DT plakats)
Irridescent Colours (Single Colour)
Non-Irridescent Colours (Single Colour)
AOC

Crowntail type
Irridescent Colours (Single Colour)
Non-Irridescent Colours (Single Colour)
AOC

Female type
Irridescent Colours (Single Colour)
Non-Irridescent Colours (Single Colour)
AOC

Opaque would probably go under non-irridescent colours - unless there are objections. Most of the rules will follow NBC rules, with a significant difference - entries must be entered in the name of the breeders. We are looking at having the competition and road show on 4 Sep 2005 at Kebun Baru Community Club. So start breeding!

Want to try out all the colours. If there are too few entries, we might have to merge classes. Likewise, we should be open to expanding the number of classes if there is overwhelming response in any particular class e.g. a separate class for reds if there are many red entries in the non-irridescent class.

Most of what you mentioned would fall under non-irrids, except if the white or yellow carry lots of irrids e.g. platinum, gold etc.

Don't have to send in the entire spawn. One fish per entry. Just like NBC. Fee also like NBC: $10 per entry for BCS members and $18 for non-BCS members.

No, the melano would be under the non-irids category.

There is a separate category for females already? See my original post.
