RTG ID Help
 

One of my friends is buying a RTG, but when he sent me a picture of the fish. It doesn't look like a RTG to me. Wondering if someone can help ID.

The seller is saying the color is caused by white light. Shouldn't the RTG have some red on the fins already. To me it looks like a Banjar yellow tail. It is about 8" so fins should be red by now?

why you need to ask this in the first place? surely the arowana has a cert right?
RTG is red tail with black top.

It has a cert, but that can be easily faked.

This RTG has yellow fins but the seller is saying that it is because he has bright white lights on his tank.

Seller fake a cert and tag just to sell you an 8" RTG?
the seller must be really sincere.

BTW, given the current pricing of arowana, it is not worth the effort to buy arowanas without cert (Tikum leng).
