I notice that this reactor does not come with coral sand/chip for pH buffering. It means that the effluent output will be highly acidic. How to resolve this?

Woh tat very chio, at $600, hmm why dun u consider the H&S from sealife at $600 too..

How abt the aquamedic which monster say it is half the price??

Pls advise on how to come to get this set???

This product is suitable for those who has already a CR in operation and you can neutralize the acidic output (lowering the pH) with those drips from the CR.

H&S need frequent maintenance as the carbonate tends to deplete much faster than the sulphur bead. Also, H&S is ideal for those without a CR.

The Aquamedic SR400 is ideal for the tanks not exceeding 400l but understand that they are coming out a unit supporting greater than this capacity.

However, you can modify or DIY a NR1000 or CR1000 to a sulphur nitratefilter "SR1000" supporting up to 1000 litres if so requires. ;)
