Hi any bro got any experience of bringing shrimps in n out of sg on plane?
wat r the procedures? wat r the charges involved? i called tiger airway they do not allowed any livestocks on board |
Max capacity allowed by AVA is 30pieces max of livestocks in not more then 3 litre of water per person.
You'll need to declare at the red channel upon reaching the checkpoint. Not sure if any charges will be involved in it. And have to check with the airline you're taking whether they'll allow any livestocks to be allowed to be checked in together with your luggage. |
Just check them in with your bags.

fly jetstar.
Friend brought back some PRL shrimps from there without any hassle. Max 30 shrimps. You will need to check them in. Head down to their LFS let them know and they will pack them on your last day into a airbag loaded into a syrofoam container and they will make sure the bag is stuffed so they will not rolled around in it. Friend shrimps all survived upon reaching SG. |
ok bro thanx for the info

I have a replied email from AVA which I think it's quite useful to have it in your Smart Phone when u return to Sg...
It state the Do's & Don't in this letter...which I think it is good to show when the custom officer might not know the regulations and start popping you with funny question. Do PM me your email if you need |
Better check with the airline before hand if you intend to check in livestocks with your luaggages.
