Lophiosilurus alexandri ( pacman catfish ) spawned !!! update fm 7 Mar 08

Lost the whole thread due to the AF data corruption :(

I've been going thru some hectic work week and it gonna continue for another few more weeks :(

My PC Hard drive was giving problem and crashed last nite...

Lost a lot of fries in the last one week and I believed it is due to bad water condition.

Lots of tiny white worm (can be seen in the pix) are multiplying like no tomorrow....

update 070308

Last count... only 35 left

How big are they now?

tiny white worm? could it be due to overfeeding? or trapped food in gravel?

Thanks for sharing..they look great!!:)

amiidae 08-03-2008 12:26 PM

Ya, those white worm thingy got to be the result of over feeding.

Most of them are now 35mm to 50mm TL.

Oic.. have to do more frequent WC liao..:D

maybe some small tiger barbs will help with the white worms..

amiidae 08-03-2008 12:35 PM

ya, got to increase the frequency of water change. However, I will not introduce other fishes in there as I might bring in another set of problem .. such as disease.
