Hi friends,

My Arowana has dropeye...

Want to perform some surgery if it gets a lot worse. Anyone know where to get information on this? My Google searches didn't help much.

You can check with boss of. Blue Crystal Aquarium, say a YouTube video of him doing the operation once. But frankly , i have never seen a good convincing after operation pictures for dropeye tho. So i think improvements are minimal, may also cause more harm then good.

I used to clip prawns and hang on TOP of my tank when feeding my aro. You can really see them looking up and aiming. But do it only if you have a big and deep enough tank. Sometimes will end up wiping the floor as some water may splash. But if you train from young, they become quite expert and never over shoot clips, just bite off prawns. Maybe it helps prevent dropeye, as my fish never had dropeye problem thankfully...
