Hi t0722!

Welcome to arofanatics!

I still have my first and only australian gold or jardini (as commonly called in this forum). That's a good price, I pressume you are from Manila. I bought mine here in Cebu doubled the price of yours. I didn't had much experience that time I bought my jardini but I was lucky I have a healthy aro now! :) My aro eats pretty well when she was still in the pet shop! :)

Best regards! :D

Hi!

Welcome to Arofanatics!

Where are you in the Philippines? There are lots of Pinoys right here in Arofanatics...

I suggest that you made some research first and read the posts here in the forums and ask questions before you buy an Aro.. Buying an Aro is a committment. You need to learn the basic in aro keeping like the ideal tank size, filtration, setup, tankmates, foods, maintenance, etc. Ask questions here or you can PM (Private Message) me.

If I were you, add a few hundred more to your budget and you can buy an Asian Aro, that is the green or Manila LFS called it "Malaysian Gold"... But if you really like a Jardini, Jardinis are beautiful but very agressive. In fact, the most agressive of all Arowana thus having a tankmate for Jardini is near to impossible...

Good Luck!

My jardini is around 15-16 inches now swimming in a 6 feet tank with a Siamese Tiger and Butterfly pleco as tankmates. So far so good, cross my fingers! :D
