How about NLS? Cichlids almost never refuse them. Just starve them for about 2 days and they will readily eat thereafter.

Dies along the way? That shouldn't have happened unless it stayed in the bag for a very long time or not packaged properly. Typically should stay good for 2-3 hours.

3ft tank is small for the number of fishes you have in that tank. With 9 fronts alone, I would suggest a 5 footer if you want to grow them big and nice. :o

Your tropheus will need to go for a 4...
